Bone Grafting
This patient had a narrow ridge, I used a PTFE membrane and synthetic bone to widen the ridge.
Osteotomy in thin 36 bone.
Six months later you can see the increase of width around the implant and newly formed bone.
Need for buccal bone graft.
PTFE membrane for bone grafting.
Expanded bone in 45 46 site.
Healing abutments on 45 46.
For this patient on the bottom left posterior there is only a knife edge ridge left. There is a huge increase in bone width for the implants after bone grafting.

Result: Implant crowns placed.
This patient barely had enough bone to hold the smallest diameter bridge.
Thin lower anterior bone present.
Initial placement implants in thin bone.

After bone grafting and 6 months you can see that there is plenty of newly formed bone to now hold the implants.
